2026-27 Calendar

First wk of Fall Quarter-Parents may attend the first lesson of fall quarter with the  student, to review policies and student practice contract, for parent and student signatures, to observe the lesson, and to ask questions. Parents are welcome anytime to lessons. Tuition increases to $650 per quarter in Fall Quarter 2026.

–Pedagogy Plus, 10 hour private lessons, 9 hour pedagogy/theory classes, 1 masterclass, $825 per quarter

–Performance Plus, 10 hour private lessons, 1 masterclass, $650 per quarter

–Student Teacher Plus, 9-40 min lessons with a student teacher in my studio, 1 masterclass with Penni, $265 per quarter

–Student Teacher Basic, 9-40 min lessons with a student teacher in the student teacher’s home, 1 masterclass with Penni, $215 per quarter

–Pedagogy/Theory classes, 9 hour classes, $175 per quarter

Sat July 18, Summer Recital, 1 PM, my studio, Only students who stay for the entire recital may perform. Please RSVP a refreshment of fruit, veggies, crackers, cheese, or salad. I will provide ice water, plates, cups, napkins, and plastic utensils and refreshments. Thank you!

Wed July 22-Sat July 26- No lessons. Tom and I will be performing music at the Denver, CO Ascension Tour.

Mon Aug 20, School starts. Fall piano schedule starts.

3 Summer Quarter Masterclasses- Aug 31-Sept 2 –Casual dress shoes, parents invited, no refreshments. Socks must be worn if shoes are removed for parents and family. No bare feet. No refreshments. Makeup lessons scheduled this week, as needed

Fri/Sat Oct 24-25, UMTA Conference, Thanksgiving Pointe. No lessons. Let me know if any of you would like to sign up. It is free for students to attend some or all of the conference!

Feb or March, TBA, AIM Theory/Ear Training tests are due, AND Music Listening Logs are due to UMTA Davis Chapter. I am the Theory/Ear Training/Music Listening Log chair, and I am out of town Tues March 10, so the absolute last day is Mon March 16 for my students.

There will be a performance location and technique & sight reading at Viewmont Seminary in Bountiful.

Plan to arrive to your AIM performance and technique & sight reading locations 10 min early. Please wait in your car at the technique & sight reading location until a teacher brings the sight reading piece to your car. You will receive a text when the teacher is ready for your student to perform their technique & sight reading. Best dress. Closed toe shoes. No bracelets or long necklaces or large rings. Take original music with measures numbered. Take paperwork clipped to music. Parents may not come in to performance location. No pictures or videos or cell phones allowed.
